Midgen was founded in 2023 with the launch of our own ambitious SaaS product: a smart platform designed to help writers craft novels effortlessly. Our signature tool, Novel Writer, required us to tackle profound AI and engineering challenges.
We gained critical expertise by fine-tuning open-source models and building sophisticated Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for contextually relevant content. This demanding experience laid the technical foundation for developing business-specific, scalable AI Agents today.
Along the way, we engineered complete systems end to end—frontend applications optimized for performance and UX, robust backend services, cloud-native architectures, data pipelines, observability, security, and horizontal scalability.
